Mechanical Engineering Student | Iowa State University
Projects
Assistive Grabber (IATP State Engineering Design Team)
Designed an affordable, open-source, wheelchair-mounted assistive grabber in Autodesk Fusion 360 in collaboration with the Illinois Assistive Technology Program
Led CAD and 3D-printed iterations, integrating Arduino-based servo control for functional prototypes
Presented the final prototype with technical drawings to the IATP board, advancing to state finals and earning 3rd place
Robotics Design & Mentorship (VEX Robotics Team)
Designed and constructed competition robots in Onshape, simulating mechanisms and verifying assemblies before fabrication
Collaborated with teammates on strategy, design, and competition preparation, strengthening communication and problem-solving skills
Modular Tool Storage System (Personal Project)
Designed a modular, standardized tool and material storage system in Fusion 360 and manufactured multiple iterations with an FDM 3D printer
Reverse-engineered 3D models of parts and tools to design and print custom inserts for precise organization
Produced durable prototypes and refined designs through hands-on iteration and testing
About Me
I'm a mechanical engineering student at Iowa State University
who loves CAD, 3D printing, and building things that actually work. Currently exploring design-for-manufacture,
robotics, and rapid prototyping.
