Projects

Assistive Grabber (IATP State Engineering Design Team)

Assistive Grabber project
  • Designed an affordable, open-source, wheelchair-mounted assistive grabber in Autodesk Fusion 360 in collaboration with the Illinois Assistive Technology Program
  • Led CAD and 3D-printed iterations, integrating Arduino-based servo control for functional prototypes
  • Presented the final prototype with technical drawings to the IATP board, advancing to state finals and earning 3rd place

Robotics Design & Mentorship (VEX Robotics Team)

VEX Robotics project
  • Designed and constructed competition robots in Onshape, simulating mechanisms and verifying assemblies before fabrication
  • Collaborated with teammates on strategy, design, and competition preparation, strengthening communication and problem-solving skills

Modular Tool Storage System (Personal Project)

  • Designed a modular, standardized tool and material storage system in Fusion 360 and manufactured multiple iterations with an FDM 3D printer
  • Reverse-engineered 3D models of parts and tools to design and print custom inserts for precise organization
  • Produced durable prototypes and refined designs through hands-on iteration and testing
